“Friendship is born at that moment when one man says to another: “What! You too? I thought that no one but myself…” ~ C.S. Lewis
As you read through the resources and posts, you will find that hopeful tones and orthodox abstinence are optional features of the conversation. While I do take the intersection of faith and sexuality extremely seriously, I do not believe I have the answers to how that should play out for others. Our conversation and faithfulness are enriched in the honest telling and interpretation of our experiences. All are welcome at this conversation. Share your stories–both randy and prude–if you, too, are a hopeful abstainer….however loosely you define it.
Please keep your posts to 500-700 words. All posts will be anonymous, but I encourage you to share your stories on this blog with your closest friends. They can offer helpful edits, but most importantly, this forum is meant as a conversation starter. Maybe you need to hide quietly for a moment, but I am adamantly hopeful that our communities of faith need YOUR stories and that you need their stories as well.
To risk horrible Bible cliche….Let the light shine in the darkness.
